In the People's Garden, the visitor finds himself or herself in another world.

Inside, a semicircle made of wooden wall draws our attention; it is clothed in a panorama of life-sized color photos, of people who came to Genoa to share their hopes and to struggle for a different world and a society of solidarity. All the people have been photographed in profile, and the arrangement of the images gives us the impression that we are seeing only one scene.

The floor of this section is covered with artificial grass, on which we can sit or lie, but which is nonetheless hard enough that we can also put chairs on it. Two Internet stations are there for public use.

On another computer, armed with a vast database, we can choose video documentaries to watch, to project them ourselves, via the Beamer system, on a neighboring canvass.

Another station, equipped with headphones, contains a sound library full of thematic radio programs and interviews with people describing their experiences in Genoa.

Another wall catches our interest: covered with wrapping paper: we can scribble our own ideas and thoughts there, and so we can use it as the daily journal of the exhibit. On a little platform in a corner, various discussions can take place.

A stand for selling books, and a bar equipped with an italian-ice stand complete the atmosphere of a «convergence center».
